Description
Portfolio Book that I designed as part of a project to showcase my design projects and exercises in my Introduction to Digital Media course.

To start off the project, I wrote a brief synopsis of each one of the projects done in course. Then I laid out the pages of the book in QuarkXpress. The layout included these synopses as well as reduced images of the course design projects and exercises. Then I adhered the printouts of these pages to a book I’d put together with pages made up of handmade papers adhered to bristol board. The front and back covers of the book were binders board that I covered with a metallic paper and collaged images onto that I associated with the course. The binding of the book was a hinge made of duct tape and held together with three found screws and bolts. As added value I made a bookmark out of this cartoon I found in the paper that applied to one of our projects in the course.
